Watts Basketball is hosting a college prep girl’s clinic.
This clinic is to help both kids and their family’s earn college scholarships
and basketball opportunities for those interested and motivated to play beyond
the high school level. The Watts Basketball Program both coaches and mentors young athletes to not only get to college, but to thrive in
college. Young athletes from all backgrounds have gone from not having any offers
to play college basketball to playing for some of the most prestigious
universities in the country, including five Ivy League graduates in the last
three years. Student athletes not only make it to the college level, but excel
in the programs they are a part of, including holding the title team captain, having
record breaking performances, and even becoming conference players of the year.
Participating in this clinic will open doors for many young
female athletes in the college basketball community by using the right combination
of development and exposure that are critical to driving recruiting, scholarship and playing
opportunities.
Clinic Breakdown:
5:30-6:15: Athlete and parent orientation/welcome to Watts Basketball
