Art of Shooting

Take your shooting to the next level.

Are you looking for a clinic to take your game to the next level? Then, you have found the right place. The most valuable and sought after skill is the ability to shoot the basketball. The Art of Shooting Program we will cover the 3 pillars of shooting taught by one of the greatest shooting instructors in the world, Donald Watts. These pillars include:
  • Mental approach-Understanding & Developing a Shooters Mentality
  • Mechanics-The 5 Elements of a Perfect Shot
  • The Mastery Method-Development Daily Habits For Ultimate Success

The principles were developed from Donald’s experience training with some of the greatest players / shooters in the world like Kobe Bryant, Ray Allen and the great “Downtown” Freddie Brown. Today, these same methods have been applied by his trainees who have received scholarships to top Universities like Yale, Penn, and the University of Washington and won high school conference scoring titles, All Conference Honors, and named as All Americans.

As a player, Coach Donald Watts was the WA State Player of the Year, 2 Time King County Conference Scoring Champ, 2 Time All-State Player and unanimous Gatorade State Player of the Year. He went on to attend the University of Washington where he struggled during his freshman year and was labeled one of the worst shooters in the PAC 10. He went back to the gym and focused on these same principles and philosophies and became one of the most efficient shooters the PAC 10 has ever seen. Over his collegiate career Donald Watts led the Huskies to 2 straight NCAA Tournament appearances and was the 1999 PAC 10 3-Point Shooting Percentage Leader.

When you combine Donald’s basketball success playing at the highest level and working hand in hand with the greatest players in the world you are ensured your experience will be unique. His insight in to the finer points of the game guarantees this clinic will take your game to the next level.
